Wellstudio Architecture.

In Kemsing Road, Wellstudio designed a new single storey side & rear extension for the client's terraced house in Greenwich.

The concept was to transform the ground floor living space for the growing family giving them a new light filled volume at the rear of the house for cooking living and dining. The open plan enabled the family to connect both with each other and their natural surroundings, boosting wellbeing.

Rather than boxing it in, the steelwork was painted grey and made into a feature of the design.  The crank of the steel beam was designed to mirror the angle of the rear window and the pitch of the roof of the side extension.

 

The project was completed on time and budget and to a high level of client satisfaction.
